The Christmas Village: the star of the holiday festivities!

Turning on the Christmas Lights
The turning on of the Christmas lights will mark the official start to the many activities and events marking Christmas in the capital. The event is held jointly with Escaldes-Engordany on Carrer de la Unió, where the main shopping thoroughfares of both towns converge Avenida Meritxell and Vivand. Friday, 24 November at 6:00 p.m. 

Christmas Market (Christmas Village)
The Christmas Market in Plaça del Poble will be open from 24 November to 31 December. It can be visited on Thursday and Friday evenings, all day at weekends and on 8 December.

Magical Post Office
A must for all those children who want to deliver their letters to Father Christmas and the Three Kings. This year, the menairons will be happy to receive them in Plaça del Poble from 24 November to 5 January. 

Little Father Christmas
The sixth edition of this Christmas children’s race in which participants will be able to deliver their letter to Father Christmas. Estadi Comunal Joan Samarra Vila, Saturday 17 December, from 12:00 p.m. onwards.

The Menairons Game
Activity to find the 5 menairons that are hiding around Andorra la Vella. There is a prize for those who find them. You can find all the information at the Tourist Office in Plaça de la Rotonda or in the information office at the Christmas market in Plaça del Poble.

Christmas Log
In the Town Square, organised by the El Sidral company, 22 to 24 December.

A Visit from Father Christmas
Saturday 24 December, from 6 p.m., Father Christmas and his entourage will parade through the streets of Andorra la Vella, arriving at Plaça del Poble.

 Christmas Park
Right in the heart of the capital’s shopping area, little ones can have a great time with their family with a carousel and swing ride. A real adventure!
Av. Meritxell/ Av. Riberaygua (old fire station), from 24 November to 7 January.

 Magic Selfies
Lovely Christmas scenes inspired by the legend of the Menairons dels Meners as a background for your selfie and to share on your social media using #andorralavellanadal. Discover all twelve as you wander along the streets and squares of the capital.

Midnight Mass
Midnight Mass will be held in Sant Esteve Church in Andorra la Vella and Santa Coloma Church.
