The resort is fully equipped and ready to welcome skiers and snowboarders, families and groups of friends. Everyone will be able to enjoy the slopes, activities, facilities and quality service at the domain.

The large graph on the right shows you all the information related to the resort at a glance. You can see, for example, conditions of the slopes in Pal Arinsal, broken down by their level of difficulty and sector. Another interesting feature is the webcam service: thanks to the images of the tabs below, you can take a look at the real-time situation in each of the resort's sectors. To view the weather forecast, you can check the official website of the resort.

Pal Arinsal covers 63 km of slopes, marked on the piste map, and is the perfect place to come for beginners and families who want to learn to ski.  Arinsal is ideally set up with a superb ski school internationally recognised for offering an outstanding level of tuition.

If you want to ski in nearby Arcalís you should look out for our "Ski The North" lift pass product which includes a non-consecutive lift pass for each area.

Arinsal and Pal are linked by a 50 person cable car and offer a great variety of skiing and snowboarding for those at beginner and intermediate level, with some lovely runs through the trees located over in Pal. Ordino Arcalís is a 30 minute bus journey away, there is a free ski bus that connects it with Arinsal and La Massana (Pal).

Offering a total of 63 kilometres of marked runs serviced by 30 lifts, Pal Arinsal has a nice variety of slopes with something for all abilities, however the focus is very much on families, beginners, and those developing their skills. There are two ski schools, both operated by Vallnord, who offer an excellent standard of ski and snowboard tuition, with a large number of British instructors in the Arinsal sector.

You can link between the two sectors of Arinsal and Pal by using the cable car, however be aware that the usual closing time of the cable car is 4.15pm. If you miss the last one you'll need to head back to the base area of either Arinsal or Pal (depending on where you are stuck) and take the ski bus back to Arinsal or La Massana.

Pal Arinsal is only 6 km from the Capital and is the easiest resort to access from Andorra La Vella. It’s formed by two sectors: Pal and Arinsal and comprises a total of 63 km of groomed pistes between 1,500 meters and 2,560 meters. There are currently 7 green, 18 blue, 17 red and five black runs plus five slalom pistes.

Pal Arinsal operates 10 months a year, from December to April for skiing and from May to October when the resort is transformed into the Pyrenees landmark Bike Park La Massana. Plus Mountain Park, an exceptional environment specifically for family activities available throughout the summer months.

In the winter months you can enjoy the ski resort itself, with more than 20 restaurant and dining options and a full-scale events calendar.

Of course, there are also shops for renting and buying equipment. As for the cuisine and leisure on offer, all sites have a cafeteria/restaurant with a terrace and children's play areas, a crèche, Wi-Fi areas and an intensive programme of activities for non-skiers. Options for those who’d rather not don their skis include snowshoe excursions and a ride on the cable car in La Massana.

Grandvalira Resorts Andorra

The incorporation of Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís into Grandvalira saw the creation of Grandvalira Resorts Andorra, a ski area that covers over 300 km (63 km at Pal Arinsal, 30.5 km at Ordino Arcalís, and 215 km at Grandvalira), which together offer clients a host of benefits. From now on, a sole season-long Andorra Pass will allow unrestricted movement around southern Europe’s largest ski area.

Ski passes and tickets

With regard to passes and packages, Pal Arinsal offers a single season pass that is valid for the whole year. You have two options: the Nord Pass, a single pass that will give you access to the slopes and lifts in the ski areas located in the northern valleys, i.e. Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís; or the Andorra Pass, which is also valid all year round and will give you access to all of the ski areas that form part of Grandvalira Resorts Andorra. This exclusive pass offers access to all the area’s ski resorts, ski lifts, slopes and snowparks, both in the winter and summer seasons, to over 60 km of track at the Pal Arinsal Bike Park, to its 6 lifts (including the cable cars of La Massana and Pal Arinsal), and to Grandvalira e-bike park. Access to the Bike Park is only included with the season pass. This pass will also give you access to the different sporting events that take place during the two seasons.
