Coll de Jou picnic area, Sant Julià de Lòria
Location and contact
To find out more
One of the advantages of the Coll de Jou picnic area is its proximity to the border between Andorra and Spain, via the main access road into our country: the CG1. Once you have driven 3 kilometres into Andorra, you only need to turn left onto the CS140 road and carry on for 2.7 km. At this point, you will find an outdoor recreational area, with parking for several vehicles. It has all the features you need for your picnic: 1 barbecue, 2 stone tables and seating around them.
The Coll de Jou picnic area, at an altitude of 1,130 metres, has no water supply, so don’t forget to fill your water bottles beforehand. Otherwise, you can buy them at the aforementioned junction, home to a range of supermarkets and other establishments. Sant Julià de Lòria is the parish with the most rest areas of this type, like the Comabella picnic areas.
Before visiting a picnic site, check its status at the tourist information office of the parish in question.
In the event of an incident, call 112.
