Cementiri de Racons picnic area, Canillo
Location and contact
The Cementiri de Racons picnic area is a pretty spot where you can stop for a break on your journey through the parish of Canillo. This small, landscaped area, located near the CG2 road in Andorra at the 9 km point, next to the parish’s Cementiri Nou, offers plenty of space for you to stretch your legs, stop for lunch or a snack and play with the kids.
Although it does not have a barbecue, like Travenc or Meritxell, it does offer several benches and two tables with seating under trees, which provide a pleasant amount of shade in the summer. You will also find a drinking fountain and a small river, which runs past this Cementiri de Racons picnic area. To park your vehicle, there is enough space in the cemetery car park, next to which there is also a bus parking area.
Before visiting a picnic site, check its status at the tourist information office of the parish in question.
In the event of an incident, call 112.
