Sant Julià de Lòria is the parish of Andorra with the most recreational areas. Next to rivers, on mountain passes, in urban areas… and in the middle of the forest, as is the case with the Bosc del Menadís picnic area. This is a beautiful spot for a break on your journey, whether on your own or accompanied by your loved ones, surrounded by trees that offer the shade that makes this area so pleasant.
It is equipped with 2 tables with seats for optimum comfort, and 2 barbecues but there is no water supply, so make sure you fill up your canteen before you visit. The exact location of Bosc del Menadís picnic area is: CS142 road, 12.84 km point, at an altitude of 1,473 metres. There are other rest areas available on the same road: Coll de Rep, Mossers and Riu de Mossers; please note, however, that only the last two have a water supply.
Before visiting a picnic site, check its status at the tourist information office of the parish in question.
