Whether in the white winter season or in the green summer season, this Pyrenean country surprises its visitors with original, magical and highly entertaining activities: sports, culture, leisure, seasonal events, etc. You can check out what's going on at the moment using the Andorra Calendar. Take a good look!
In Andorra you'll feel passionate about sports, whether by taking part yourself or by attending top level international competitions. This is certainly true in winter, as Grandvalira and Vallnord often host scoring events during the Ski World Cup, in various different disciplines: alpine ski, ski mountaineering, snowboarding, etc. The same thing happens in summer, when MTB and cycling come to the fore with races and trials that bring together the best athletes in each discipline. There are many other examples like these, in individual and team sports, motor sports and endurance events.
On the Andorra events list, however, you will also find many amateur trials, where you are certainly guaranteed excitement and a great show. World junior and freeride championships, cycle rides, adventure competitions and a long list of other sporting events you can attend to experience your sporting passion first hand.
Culture lovers also have lots to choose from in Andorra. We have numerous museums that organise temporary exhibitions, guided tours and activities of all kinds. The Andorra National Auditorium schedules a varied calendar of concerts and performances. Our cultural centres offer cinema programmes and our theatres reserve their best performances for the peak season, in both winter and summer, as is the case with Cirque de Soleil shows.
Andorrans also love shopping. So much so that every year, at the beginning of the winter season, we organise a thematic festival dedicated to it: the Andorra Shopping Festival. The streets and shopping centres in the Principality of Andorra are filled with lights, colour, music, street art, cuisine... and special prices. But shopping aficionados have a reason to come all year round, whether the sales are on or not. Our country is famous for its broad offering across all sectors, especially electronics, jewellery, cosmetics and fashion. Undoubtedly a great way to get to know and love Andorra from a different perspective.
Couples and families with children will also find a whole host of things to do in Andorra within the calendar: Christmas, Valentine's Day, Carnival, Easter, San Juan (Midsummer), local festivals full of folklore, Halloween and so on and so forth. These are just a few of the dates that our regions take advantage of to organise events and quell boredom.
Feast your eyes on this list and experience the Principality to the full!
