In our country it’s impossible not to feel passionate about sport, whether you’re taking part yourself or watching one of the many top-tier international competitions that are held here. In winter, the prime example is skiing, since both Grandvalira and Pal Arinsal generally play host to races that count towards the Ski World Cup in sports such as alpine skiing, ski mountaineering and snowboarding. In summer, mountain biking and other forms of cycling take centre stage, holding races that put the world’s best riders in each discipline to the test. The National Auditorium of Andorra organises a varied calendar of events to enjoy, our cultural centres hold cinema seasons, and our theatres choose the high seasons of summer and winter to stage their best performances, including Cirque du Soleil events.

 Another thing that Andorrans love to do is shop. We like it so much that every year we organise an entire festival devoted to it at the beginning of the winter season: the Andorra Shopping Festival. The streets and shopping centres of the Principality overflow with light, colour, music, urban art, gastronomy... and discounts. However, shopaholics have more than enough reasons to visit us all year round, even when the sales are not on, because our country is known for offering consumers the very best prices, especially in electronics, jewellery, cosmetics and fashion.
