The Government exhibition Hall presents [Referents]. Lita Cabellut + Maseda, an exhibition that highlights the power of portraiture as a way to interpret the world.
Through the work of Lita Cabellut and Maseda, two artists who have placed portraiture at the core of their practice, the exhibition offers a journey through 20 key figures in contemporary history. Individuals who have left their mark in fields such as culture, politics, science and society, and who are presented here as an opportunity to rediscover them through an artistic lens and explore the expressive value of portraiture.
Beyond the visit, the exhibition becomes a complete cultural experience, with parallel activities for all audiences, including guided tours, film screenings, concerts and workshops, inviting visitors to take part actively and experience art in a close and accessible way.
