La Vuelta 2026 returns to Andorra on 25 August for the 4th stage, a day that will turn the Principality’s streets and mountain passes into the setting for the world’s top international cycling.
The 105-kilometre stage will start from Avinguda Tarragona in Andorra la Vella, heading north, before following the CG-2 through the Encamp and Canillo bypasses and up to the summit of Port d’Envalira. From there, the riders will descend through the Envalira Tunnel to Encamp, where they will tackle the climb to Coll de Beixalís before descending through Aldosa towards Ordino. The route will continue with the ascent of Coll d’Ordino and the descent through Montaup to Canillo. In the final section, the cyclists will descend along the CG-2 to Engolasters, climb through La Plana and tackle the final challenge, Port de la Comella, before returning to Andorra la Vella, where the stage will finish on Avinguda Tarragona.
The day will begin well before the start. From 12:30 to 14:30, Parc Central in Andorra la Vella will host the teams’ gathering, offering a great opportunity to soak up the race atmosphere and see the stage’s protagonists up close.
From 13:00, the Advertising Caravan will travel through Andorra la Vella, Encamp, Canillo, Pas de la Casa, Ordino, La Massana and Escaldes-Engordany, bringing music, entertainment and the festive atmosphere of La Vuelta to the streets before the cyclists pass through.
Parc Central will also host the Parque Vuelta, an entertainment area open from 13:00 to 17:00, with free admission. It is the perfect place to enjoy the race atmosphere and cheer on the riders before they reach the finish line.
