This summer, immerse yourself in the world of traditional mountain huts and transhumance on a guided tour of the Encenrera mountain hut, located in Grau Roig, in the parish of Encamp. The activity takes place on Fridays and Saturdays throughout July and August.
During this interactive experience, you'll step into the shoes of a group of shepherds to discover how they made use of the high mountain pastures, cared for their flocks of sheep and produced cheese. The tour offers a fascinating insight into an activity that shaped life and the economy of Andorra for centuries.
The tour lasts approximately one hour. You can also choose to reach the site by 4x4 bus, which connects Grau Roig with Pessons.
Book your place and discover how shepherds lived and worked at over 2,000 metres above sea level.
