How to get to Andorra by train
Travelling by train is a good option for those coming from distant cities. The nearest train station is in France, in L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre and is approximately 11 kilometres by road from the border. This station is served by trains from major French cities, mainly in the south of the country, such as Toulouse. For visitors coming from Spain, one good solution is the Lleida Pirineus station, where high-speed trains (AVE) from Madrid Puerta de Atocha and Barcelona Sants stop.
How to get to Andorra by car
Given Andorra’s location nestled amongst the Pyrenees, the options for reaching the Principality all depend on driving. From Spain, the way to get there is the N-145 from La Seu d’Urgell. From France, Andorra can be reached via the N-22, N-20 and N-320 (Col de Puymorens mountain pass and tunnel).

The closest airport, with the official name Andorra-La Seu Airport (LEU), is located in La Seu d’Urgell, a town bordering our country, and the capital of the Alt Urgell region (in the province of Lleida). The Spanish airline Air Nostrum currently operates commercial routes to a number of destinations in Spain, such as Palma de Mallorca and Madrid, providing passengers with access to a wide variety of international and intercontinental connections.
