Andorran Fire Brigade
In case of an emergency or accident, you can contact the rescue teams led by the Andorran Fire Brigade. They are responsible for carrying out mountain rescues and dealing with any incidents related to natural fires or urban incidents. Health care
In Andorra there is a comprehensive health care network that covers the needs of the entire territory through the Andorran Health Care Service (SAAS). There are agreements in place with the Spanish, French and Portuguese public health care systems. Get informed in your country before you travel.
The Nostra Senyora de Meritxell Hospital centralises all services, including emergencies, and health centres are the medical centres located in the different parishes, which are usually open from Monday to Friday.
If you have any health problems over the weekend or on public holidays, you can contact the Medical Out-of-Hours Service, a public service made up of general practitioners with open consultations from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In addition, there is a large network of pharmacies with varied and extensive opening hours. In case of an emergency or accident, you can also contact the Andorran Fire Brigade.
