Azimut Andorra

(Andorra la Vella)

Azimut Andorra was born out of the passion of one mountain guide, Montse Arderiu, to offer you unique wilderness experiences. With years of experience touring the forests of Andorra, the company guides and accompanies groups looking to experience itineraries that are a little different, less well-known and less travelled by other hikers. With excellent knowledge of Andorra’s natural environment, it offers outings at any time of the year.

Snowshoeing and skimo excursions

With the arrival of winter and snow, Azimut Andorra suggests exploring the valleys on snowshoes or by skimo. You’ll enjoy tailored outings, adapted to the level of your group, discovering the most unique landscapes in our valleys. This activity requires a minimum level of high-mountain experience and basic ski mountaineering skills. The equipment can be adjusted according to the weather and the season of the year, and outings are in groups of up to 8 people.

Discover Andorran flora and culture

The warmest months are the perfect time to walk, enjoying the colours and nature in all its essence.  Azimut Andorra will design hiking routes made to suit you, depending on your level and experience. You’ll walk along paths where you can observe the flora and fauna of the country, but also learn about its culture and most rooted customs. These include learning about dry stone construction and Andorra’s origins, as well as the uses of some herbal remedies. These excursions are available from April to October, are suitable for all (children from 12 years old) and are run in groups of up to 10 people.

Lunch or dinner included

Choose the gastronomic outing and top off your excursion with a meal in a traditional Andorran borda (refuge). You can choose between a delicious hot dish or traditional high-mountain fondue. This option is available with all outings and throughout the year. Put the cherry on top of your experience!
