UNIQUE ACCOMMODATION

Sleep surrounded by snow

In Andorra, winter nights become a memorable experience thanks to its unique accommodation. Among the most special spaces in the country, Borda del Pi stands out, surrounded by the nature of the Montaup Valley and perfect for disconnecting in a cosy atmosphere, and L'Ovella Negra, in the Incles Valley, which combines authenticity, warmth and an incomparable mountain environment. If you are looking for total immersion in nature, the manned mountain refuges of Borda de Sorteny and l'Illa offer magical nights at more than 1,900 metres above sea level, with silence, stars and absolute proximity to the winter landscape. Rural houses, spread across the country's valleys and picturesque villages, allow you to enjoy large and comfortable spaces with all the charm of stone and wood, ideal for getaways as a couple, family or group.

At the ski resorts, the experience continues with some exclusive options. The Cabanes de Grandvalira by Serras Collection are located in privileged locations in the heart of the resort and offer an exclusive experience marked by excellence, comfort and a high level of service. In Naturland, Borda Conangle offers a traditionally inspired stay out in nature, perfect for combining rest, gastronomy and winter activities.

Ski for longer

At Grandvalira, you can extend your day of skiing with several night-time options. The resort offers the possibility of skiing on the Solana slope, in Pas de la Casa, which has night lighting and access to the cable car, weather permitting. To access it, you must have a daily ski pass.

What's more, fans of freeride can enjoy the Sunset Park Henrik Harlaut by Night, located in the Peretol sector, another ideal option for skiing after the sun goes down.

To find opening hours, schedules and updated conditions, you can visit the official Grandvalira website.

Other night-time activities

In La Massana, a parish recognised as a Starlight Tourist Destination, winter nights become a unique experience that combines snow, nature and astronomical observation.

On the one hand, the astronomy activity at the Bordes del Cardemeller proposes a three-and-a-half-hour adventure that begins with a descent on snowshoes to the bordes, where participants can taste some typical products and observe the starry sky, before returning by snowmobile.

For those looking for a shorter option, the snowshoeing and astronomy excursion offers two hours of nature and stars from Coll de la Botella. It includes a circular snowshoe hike and a guided session to discover the constellations.

Details about timetables, reservations and conditions can be found on the website visitlamassana.ad

At the Canillo Palau de Gel, special activities can be organised upon request, like ice hockey matches or curling sessions, ideal for enjoying a different and fun experience outside of regular hours.

To round off the night-time adventures in Andorra, specialised companies such as Roc Roi, Mushing Pirineus or Motos de Neu Armengol also offer unique experiences under the stars. From snowmobile trips to snowshoe excursions or mushing routes, these activities allow you to discover the magic of the mountains at night, adding a touch of excitement and nature to your winter getaway.
