A day's walk that lets you discover two magnificent, transparent-blue, glacial lakes and a wonderful view of the Andorra Mountains.

At km 2.2 on the road to the Incles Valley (N42 35.945 E1 40.844), there is a sign indicating a stone track that leads to the Fontargent Way.

You walk along the valley before entering a forest of creeping pines. At the crossroads, make sure you follow the yellow dot markers to Anrodat Lake.  You reach a beautiful setting where, depending on the season, you can see the English iris or the Alpine anemone.

The path continues to Isla Lake, named after the small island in the middle of the water.

After a final ascent you reach the Anrodat Pass and, a few metres higher, the Anrodat Peak (N42 37.493 E1 40.957): flat, wide and crowned with a large milestone, at 2730 m above sea level it offers an impressive view.

For your safety, we recommend doing all routes above 1,700 metres between the end of June and the end of September. However, if the weather and terrain conditions allow it, the season may extend from May to October.

You’ll find more details about this and other routes in the Trails of Andorra Hiking Guide.
