A pleasant, medium-difficulty hike in the traditional parish of Ordino: one of the best preserved parishes in Andorra from an architectural point of view. You will walk in a loop between the villages of Llorts and Arans, crossing the beautiful Castell forest, which is populated with Scots pines.

You can find the beginning of the path at the exit of the village of Llorts, thanks to a sign marking the Roc del Castell (N42 35.771 E1 31.565). As you gradually ascend, you will follow the Angonella river along its left ban

At a certain point, the path moves away from the river, arriving at a small scree, before entering the forest, where you will find a steep slope leading to a beautiful clearing near the Roc del Castell, which is a magnificent viewpoint for the Pic du Casamanya and the Bordes de l'Ensegur (N42 35.797 E1 30.821).

Take the time to listen to the blue tits or great tits, the green woodpecker and the black woodpecker.

Coming back, you will descend the path marked with yellow dots, passing next to the Bordes de Sedornet in the direction of Arans, and then following the white and red markers of the GR11. Once you have arrived at Arans (N42 34.947 E1 31.061), you should cross the road and the river to follow the Ruta del Ferro (Iron Route) on the left to get back to Llorts.
