HIKING : LA FONT DEL BOÏGOT

It climbs 300 metres and is of low difficulty: it takes little over 2 hours.
We start the Font del Boïgot hiking route on the road to la Comella and la Plana, taking a mountain path that drops down through the shade, which is why this excursion is ideal for the summer. Along the route we can see the typical vegetation of shady riverbank areas, but there are also crops and stock breeding in Entremesaigües, and the former cobbled path that goes from there to the road to la Plana. On this route we find the Boïgot and Pixadera springs.
The route starts on the crossroads of the road to la Plana (42° 30' 15",1° 33' 3").
For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1,700 metres between the end of June and the end of September. However, if the weather and terrain conditions allow it, the season may extend from May to October.
You will find further details of this and other routes in the Hiking guide Trails of Andorra.
