The Camí dels Pujols path passes very close to Balma de la Margineda, an archaeological site that is unique to Andorra, with remains of rock painting.

The itinerary starts at the new Margineda bridge in the parish of Andorra la Vella (42° 29’ 2”, 1° 29’ 25”). On Carrer dels Emprius, start the path behind a building and continue along the River Valira. After a small climb, you come to Balma de la Margineda, where you can see the structure of the archaeological site.

From this point, the path begins to climb straighter until you reach the top station of the Tossal Gran d’Aixovall via ferrata, where you’ll find an information sign. Following the path, you come to a slope that descends in a series of steps to the small and charming town of Aixovall.
For your safety, we recommend that all routes above 1,700 metres should only be hiked between the end of June and the end of September. Weather and terrain conditions permitting, however, the season can run from May to October.

You can find more details about this and other routes in the Trails of Andorra Hiking Guide (Camins d’Andorra).
