The Camí de Rocafort follows the GRP that goes around Andorra. At the beginning of the route we come to a gulley that we will have to cross with care holding onto a rope. We will continue through the Coll de la Manyiga where we can make out the Church of Sant Martí de Nagol from 1048, and we will wind down through a forest of Scots pine until we come to a meadow that we have to follow on the left to go down a path towards Aixirivall.

We cross a small bridge over the River d’Ós and come to the Hotel Peralba in the village of Aixovall. The route starts at the Coll del Jou where there is a picnic point on the right.

You can get there on the road to Fontaneda, after km2 (42° 27' 23",1° 28' 48").

For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1,700 metres between the end of June and the end of September. However, if the weather and terrain conditions allow it, the season may extend from May to October.

You will find further details of this and other routes in the Hiking guide Trails of Andorra.
