FIS Freeride World Championships

Ordino - Arcalís
01-02-2026 - 06-02-2026

Andorra will host the first FIS Freeride World Championships by Mammut between 1 and 6 February 2026 at the Ordino Arcalís resort, part of Grandvalira Resorts. This is a historic milestone, as it marks the first time freeride will stage World Championships under the umbrella of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), becoming the highest-level global competition in the discipline.

After more than ten years as a venue for the Freeride World Tour, Andorra consolidates its position as a leading international freeride destination, bringing together the best specialists on the world stage and providing an outstanding showcase for the talent and intensity of off-piste skiing and snowboarding.

Unlike the Freeride World Tour, which takes place over the course of a season across different venues, this event will crown the FIS world champions in a single, decisive competition.

The event will be contested across four categories —men’s and women’s skiing, and men’s and women’s snowboarding—, with one run per athlete, and will feature 66 competitors from 17 countries, who will gather in Ordino Arcalís ready to push their skills to the limit in an event that will mark a new chapter in the history of freeride worldwide.
