It's now a living example of Andorra’s preindustrial heritage. The Rossell forge, a completely restored forge converted into an Iron Interpretation Centre will use an audio-visual to show us how the process of transforming mineral iron into ingots occurs and the importance of metallurgy in Andorra. After the tour we will also see the operation of the water driven hammer and how the ingots were formerly produced with the tools of the time. You will also discover contraptions and tools like the trompe and the oven, among others.

Services: Visits are by guided tour. You can choose whether or not you would like to see the drop hammer demonstration, which requires a small supplement. Visits need to be booked in advance. 1 hour. Last tour 1 hour before close. Languages: Catalan, Spanish, French and English. Space adapted for the physically impaired. This centre also offers activities for school groups and a multimedia classroom. The centre also has a shop.

It can also provide information about the Iron Trail – included as part of the European Industrial Heritage Itinerary – and about other sites related to Andorran forges.
