The parade and the float and troupe contest are the main events at Sant Julià de Lòria Carnival.

The programme of activities of the Sant Julià de Lòria Carnival opens with the traditional cercavila parade organised by the schools, and closes with the traditional taking down, trial and burning of the Carnival King and the brooms. These two events are all about fun and festivities for young and old alike, with a treasure hunt, a dance, a community botifarrada barbecue and children's shows, among others.
