From 17 to 21 September, the fourth edition of Andorra Taste will be held—an international gathering of high mountain gastronomy. This year, the congress broadens its focus toward the Alps as the featured guest region, exploring its culinary diversity and new perspectives on alpine cuisine.

 

The event will also welcome leading chefs from Spain and France, along with representatives from other prominent mountain regions such as the Caucasus and the Balkans.


With this edition, Andorra Taste reaffirms its role as a global meeting point for reflecting on mountain cuisine as heritage, economic engine and cultural expression.

 

The world’s best chefs return to Andorra
Prat del Roure in Escaldes-Engordany will once again host the professional lectures of the congress, with sessions dedicated to mountain culinary identity, sustainability, local cuisine and innovation.

 

Guest regions and international speakers

  • Zineb Hattab, KLE**, Zurich. Leading figure in vegan cuisine in Europe. A pioneer of vegan haute cuisine in Switzerland, blending excellence and sustainability.
  • Uroš Štefelin, Hiša Linhart**, Radovljica. Promoter of Slovenian alpine cuisine. Revitalises alpine Slovenian cuisine through modern techniques and local produce.
  • Emmanuel Renaut, Flocons de Sel***, Megève. President of Toquicimes festival. Key figure in French alpine cuisine and founder of the Toquicimes festival.
  • Daduna Ghlonti, Skio, Gudauri. Guest speaker from the Caucasus. Promotes Georgian Mountain cuisine on an international scale.

  • Oriol Castro, Disfrutar***, Barcelona. Creator of Disfrutar, one of the world’s best restaurants with avant-garde cuisine. Named best restaurant in the world three years in a row (2022–2024) by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
  • Luis Lera, Lera**, Zamora. Expert in game cuisine, deeply rooted in rural traditions with a modern outlook.
  • Jordi Vilà, Alkimia*, Barcelona. Catalan chef merging tradition and modernity with a strong commitment to local product.
  • Javier Olleros, Culler de Pau***, Galicia. Advocate for sustainability through his sensitive and elegant cuisine in Galicia.
  • Sergio Sainz, Lavedán, Tena Valley. Represents the new cuisine of the Aragonese Pyrenees with authenticity and identity.

  • Stéphane Tournié, Les Jardins de l’Opéra*, Toulouse. Reference in Occitan cuisine, creative and locally rooted, blending French tradition with international influences.

  • Hideki Matsuhisa, Koy Hermitage, Soldeu. Combines Japanese tradition with the Pyrenean setting at Koy Hermitage.
  • Jordi Grau, Ibaya*, Soldeu. Champion of modern Andorran cuisine with a Michelin star at Ibaya.
  • Carles Flinch, Can Manel, Andorra la Vella. Updates traditional mountain cooking with elegance and respect for ingredients.
