The Collada de Mener pass links the parishes of Ordino and Canillo. Its name derives from the iron mines on the Ransol side, which were exploited in the 17^th and 19^th centuries. The pass is located in the middle of the Pic de la Serrera (2,913 m) to the northwest and the Pic de la Cabaneta (2,865 m) to the southeast.
