From 24 October to 28 November, the 11th Romanesque Chamber Music Series once again fills the heritage sites of Canillo with music. Organised by the Friends of Romanesque Chamber Music Association, the series features six concerts by nationally and internationally renowned performers, with a programme that combines great works of the classical repertoire with contemporary pieces specially conceived for these unique settings.

Programme:

• 24 October: Abel Tomàs & Emma Stratton, violin and piano – Mozart, Brahms and Beethoven. Sant Cerni de Canillo, 5 pm (opening concert).
• 31 October: Pablo Casals Festival: Jeunes Talents & Friends – Schubert and Beethoven. Sant Bartomeu de Soldeu, in collaboration with the French Embassy in Andorra.
• 7 November: Maria Solé and Narumi Iwase – voice and piano. Sant Cerni de Canillo.
• 14 November: Andorran Brass – brass ensemble of the CMA of Andorra. Sant Pere del Tarter.
• 21 November: Trio Magma – winners of the 8th Romanesque Chamber Music International Competition. Sant Cerni de Canillo.
• 28 November: Ensemble Madriu – string quintet. Sant Cerni de Canillo.

An intimate experience that brings performers and audience closer together, rounded off after each concert with coca, a traditional sweet pastry, and hot chocolate. Perfect for classical music lovers and a wonderful opportunity to discover Canillo’s Romanesque heritage.
