Camí Hidroelèctric d’Engolasters
Every Saturday (apart from the winter months) the Electricity Museum offers the Path of Engolasters hydroelectric, a tour of the production of electricity in which you will visit the workings of the Engolasters Lake dam, you will walk on the channels that take the water from the river and you will see the secrets of electricity production. Furthermore, you will be able to see how they formerly brought in the material and people to the guard huts on the dam, and you can get on the carriage that was in service from 1930 to 1999!
The whole route is done on foot in perfect natural surroundings at 1,600m alt. with qualified guides to answer any question you might have at all times.
This activity is available on Saturdays and Sundays in July, and then every day for the last week of July and the whole of August. On Mondays the activity is unavailable and in September it is only held on Saturdays.
From April to October, discretionary visits can be made, with prior booking and subject to centre availability.
Guided tour: Duration 1.30 hours. Places limited to 30 people/visit. Languages: Catalan, Spanish, French and English
