WINNER OF ANDORRA SAX FEST 2024

Andorra Sax Fest has become one of the most inspiring and important musical events in the Principality and beyond. Now, the winner of the 2024 edition of the competition, Dmitry Pinchuk, is performing as part of CLÀSSICAND, a series of concerts in Andorra, accompanied by the renowned pianist Takahiro Mita.

Dmitry Pinchuk

Dmitry Pinchuk is an eighteen-year-old saxophonist who has already accumulated an impressive list of successes. Mentored by Professor Nikita Zimin, Dmitry has emerged as a rising star in the music world, with plenty of international awards under his belt. He won Andorra SaxFest Youth in 2022, thus solidifying his position as a first-class saxophonist. Pinchuk has taken part in this competition four times, winning the first prize this year. He has performed on stages in Russia, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Spain.

Takahiro Mita

Takahiro Mita studied piano at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music with Mutsuko Kobayashi. He then continued his piano training at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, under the mentorship of Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden and Burkard Spinley. Takahiro Mita has won numerous international competitions and performed in many recitals, as a soloist, as part of a chamber music ensemble and with an orchestra, in Japan, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain.
