Plaça del Poble / Plaça Vinyes

Andorra la Vella

While the Andorran National Classical Orchestra (ONCA) provided the opening act to the first edition of CLÀSSICAND, in this second edition it will bring an end to the festival. At this very special event, attendees can enjoy a unique show in the heart of Andorra la Vella, in Plaça Vinyes, next to Plaça del Poble. With accompaniment from two young Andorran vocal talents, the ONCA will bring us an exceptional concert. A fitting way to draw this year's festival to a close.

Managed by the ONCA Foundation and led by musician Albert Gumí (2021), this versatile orchestra combines elements of both the chamber music and symphonic formations. It has played at concerts throughout Europe as well as in many festivals and concert cycles in numerous auditoriums alongside internationally renowned soloists, achieving a level of prestige within the music world.

Albert Gumí

The winner of numerous national and international competitions for his clarinet performances, he has taught at several renowned conservatories in the United States. In addition to his work creating educational projects, he also plays in a number of small chamber groups, having graced venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Santa Cecilia Hall in Rome, among others. He has recorded over 20 CDs and also composes pieces for young orchestras.

Maria Soler

She began her singing career at just ten years old in the Petits Cantors d’Andorra national youth choir. In 2015 she was chosen to play at À Nau Voix festival in La Baule, France, and she has also performed in operas with Andorra Lírica (2016-17). In 2018 she began studying at Saint-Maur Conservatory, participating in countless projects during her time there, including Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. She has performed alongside tenor Josep Carreras and also accompanies the ONCA at its concerts.

Gil Grandjean Moles

He joined the Petits Cantors d’Andorra choir when he was eight years old. At 18 he began studying at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux under the guidance of Cyprien Sadek, and in 2022 the Andorran Ministry of Culture accepted him onto the Young Artists Scholarship Programme. In 2023 he gained a number of musical certificates and performed his first solo recital at Automne music festival in Vallespir.
