Tourist bus - Route 6

PLACES YOU WILL SEE

The first stop on this route is the Museum of Miniatures in Ordino, where we find an impressive collection of micro-miniatures hand crafted by the Ukrainian artist Nicolai Siadristy. To create these tiny artworks, he uses exclusive materials such as gold and platinum in combination with everyday materials such as paper, fruit seeds and grains of rice.

We conclude our visit to Ordino with a stroll around the town centre, which has successfully managed to preserve the charm and spirit of a traditional mountain village.

The route then takes us to the village of La Cortinada, where we visit the Romanesque Church of Sant Martí de la Cortinada and can admire its magnificent frescoes.

We then continue up through the Ordino Valley to the village of Llorts, where we begin the Iron Route. This walking tour offers a fascinating insight into the practice of metalworking, which was an extremely important industry in Andorra up until the end of the 19th century. Along the way are a number of modern sculptures, all of which have iron as their central theme.

A little further on we stop for lunch at the Bringué Hotel, a local establishment in the village of Serrat. Afterwards, we continue up towards Arcalis until we reach the bridge of Pont del Castellar, where we can stretch our legs and admire the high mountain landscape.

From there, we make our way back to Escaldes-Engordany and Andorra la Vella, where the route ends.

On the tour you will be accompanied at all times by a tourist guide who speaks Catalan, Spanish, French and English.
Route 6: every Saturday from 1 June to 31 October. This is a half-day route that includes lunch and ends around 5:30 pm.
