Dry Stone Walling Days

2025-11-14 - 2025-11-16

The XIII APSAT Meeting will be held this year in Andorra with the collaboration of the Interreg POCTEFA Petra project, which aims to highlight the value of the dry-stone architectural heritage of the Pyrenees. The project, co-financed by the European Union, seeks to strengthen economic and social integration in the cross-border area of Spain, France and Andorra.

The event will underline the importance of dry stone and traditional architecture as living witnesses of history and landscape, but also as sustainable solutions in the face of modern construction. These techniques, recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage in 2018 and incorporated in Andorra in 2024, have been key in the management of natural resources and in agricultural and livestock development.

On Sunday 16 November, the event will conclude with a round table organised by the Guild of Dry Stone Wallers of Catalonia, open to everyone, as well as the presentation of the venue for the XIV Meeting scheduled for 2027 and the awarding of the V Dry Stone Award.

Location and dates: Andorra la Vella Congress Centre and Cal Pal, from 14 to 16 November 2025.
