It is escaping into thermal waters while it snows, letting yourself drift in the panoramic lagoon, relaxing with a spa treatment or enjoying some delicious food, among many other experiences. Over the last three decades, it has become one of the Principality's main attractions.
The Thermal waters
Thermal water is the Caldea's key element. It is a source of beauty, health and well-being. It emanates from Escaldes-Engordany's natural springs at a temperature ranging from 65°C to 70°C. Before reaching the lagoons, it is filtered and cooled to a temperature of between 34°C and 37°C.
Entry passes
The Caldea thermal complex has different facilities to which you can gain entry to by choosing one of the available passes: Classic, Plus or Premium.
Classic
This pass is ideal for people over the age of five, giving you three hours in the spa, as well as towel and locker hire (floor -1). The facilities included are: the large indoor lagoon with hydromassage cups, the outdoor and panoramic lagoons, the Nordic sauna, hammam and the Indo-Roman baths. Plus
This pass is for those over 12 years old and provides access, for 3 hours, to all the Classic facilities, in addition to the famous Arabian bath, the Aztec bath, the lemon bath and the solarium with jacuzzis. Click for more information and to book.
Premium
The most complete Caldea pass, exclusively for those over 16 years of age. It offers access to all the facilities, in addition to the loan of slippers, towel, bathrobe and free entrance to wellness workshops (Tibetan bowls and mindfulness). Click for more information and to book.
Children's spa
Caldea also has a spa specifically for kids aged three to eight: the Children's Spa. This space features a thermal lagoon with a 40-cm-deep, 75-sq-metre pool where fun and relaxation go hand-in-hand, always under the direct supervision of monitors. Water beds, water currents, water cannons, a soft beach, sauna lounge, the beauty area and the fitness area complete the Children's Spa. The fun guided activities are specifically designed to develop children's psychomotor and intellectual abilities. This pass is only available in conjunction with one of the other three.
