The photography exhibition forms part of the Andorra al Natural project, a partnership between National Geographic and the Principality of Andorra that aims to show the lesser-known side of the wild nature of the country.
The exhibition consists of around 20 images of landscapes and wild animals in their natural environment at different times of the year. The resulting set of images is a selection of the diversity and richness of Andorra’s nature, which so often goes unnoticed.
The artist is Jaime Rojo, a photographer and explorer for National Geographic and a Senior Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers. For more than a year, Rojo has worked with expert naturalists to document Andorra’s most iconic species and its most remote landscapes.
The images are displayed in large format backlit panels in the church square located in the middle of Pas de la Casa (Encamp).
Enjoy this exhibition for all audiences, free and open air, made with the collaboration of the Comú d’Encamp, until 8 December 2021.
