Capture the Shop in Andorra Festival
One country, one day, and countless ways to view it. On 14 November, the 11th edition of the Pep Aguareles Photo Marathon will turn Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany into a grand open-air stage, to coincide with the Shop in Andorra Festival. Bustling streets, shop windows, people and details that often go unnoticed are all waiting to be discovered through your lens.
Grab your camera or mobile phone, choose your category and put your photographer’s eye to the test. Professionals, amateurs and families have a date with photography at an event that's designed to inspire them to create, explore, and even win a prize.

MAX-MARATHON
The most demanding challenge: an extended test for photography enthusiasts and professionals aged 15 and over.
You'll have to interpret the suggested themes and create a collection of seven images with their own unique personality.
The best three will take home €1,200, €750 and €500 in photographic and/or audiovisual/technical equipment. Minors will need a permission slip signed by their parents or guardians.
FAMILY MARATHON
In this short challenge, adults and children team up to explore the city and capture it from a new perspective.
All that's needed to take part is at least one parent or guardian and a child aged between 5 and 15.
Together, they'll have to create a collection of five photographs based on the suggested themes. The best collection will receive €500-worth of photographic and/or audiovisual/technical equipment, with €250-worth for the runner-up.
THE BEST PHOTO
This year, the challenge is to view the world through something: a window, a partly opened door, a crack...
any kind of opening that enables you to discover what's on the other side.
It is a tribute to the 200th anniversary of the oldest surviving photograph, which was taken by Nicéphore Niépce from his window in 1826. Each participant can submit up to three images, and the three best will receive €100 each.
