The cycling tour is back with a bang!
The 6th Purito Andorra - Andbank Grand Prix, the cycling tour promoted by Joaquim Rodríguez, is back with the same spirit as when it was created and with new routes suited for cyclists of all levels to test themselves on one of its three courses:
La Purito 115 km, with 4,800 m elevation gain, climbing six mountain passes.
La Purito 80 km, with 3,500 m elevation gain with four ports along the route.
La Purito 30 km, with 1,700 m elevation gain with two ports to crown.
Participants will take on the ports of Alt de la Rabassa (1,820 m), Coll de la Gallina (1,910 m), Alt de la Comella (1,347 m), Collada de Beixalís (1,796 m), Coll d’Ordino (1,980 m) and Els Cortals d’Encamp (2,083m).
Europe’s toughest cycle race offers strong thrills as well as fun in Andorra, the quintessential high mountain cycling country!
Date and place: Purito Andorra - Andbank Grand Prix: Sunday 7 August 2022. All the routes start from Sant Julià de Lòria and finish at Els Cortals d’Encamp, the race’s highest point.
