The exhibition comprises around 80 1:18 scale models and can be visited at the National Automobile Museum in Encamp.

The National Automobile Museum in Encamp is hosting an exhibition of around 80 1:18 scale Ferrari miniatures. The show pays homage to the legendary “Prancing Horse” marque and takes visitors on a journey through the company’s history, which is also the history of motor racing: from classic competitions and endurance races through to present-day Formula 1. Not to mention the company’s legendary sports cars for the road!

Founded in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari, a.k.a. Il Commendatore, the company is synonymous around the world for the manufacture of peerless sports cars.

To achieve this status, it has always worked closely with the best designers, the most outstanding of which is undoubtedly Pininfarina. This much sought-after designer has collaborated with Ferrari on models such as the 250 (the first design it produced for the Maranello-based manufacturer), the Dino, the Daytona, the 365 GTC, the Testarossa, the F40 and the Enzo. These are just some of the 30-plus models that have begun life on the drawing-boards of the Turin-based designer.

The exhibition includes a wide range of classic models, including the 250 GTO, the Dino, the Testarossa, the F40 and the 328 GTB, as well as the Formula 1 car in which Michael Schumacher became World Champion.

Location and dates: National Automobile Museum, Encamp. Until 31 December 2020.

Organisers: The Government of Andorra in collaboration with Bomosa. Entry to the exhibition is free.
