Tem uma capacidade de 6 lugares. O refúgio de Pla de les Pedres, construído em pedra, foi inaugurado em 1991. É um refúgio não vigiado, aberto todo o ano, cuja manutenção costuma realizar-se nos meses de verão (limpeza, lenha, estojo de primeiros socorros, etc.). O acesso pode realizar-se de carro até Peretol. A partir daí, é preciso continuar a pé seguindo o caminho indicado. A duração do percurso é de, aproximadamente, 20 minutos, e apresenta um desnível de 190 metros. O nível de dificuldade do percurso a pé é baixo. Há cobertura de rede móvel.
