If you'd like to enjoy skiing in a new and different way, Grandvalira has a range of special circuits adapted to suit to all ages and levels to help you make the most of the slopes! They’re spread out across the different sectors of the resort and can be found on the blue and red runs, and even on routes for other winter sports such as ski mountaineering.
Fun Cross Circuits
For all those seeking a new skiing and snowboarding experience, there are five Fun Cross circuits packed with fast corners, obstacles, dummies and tunnels, and with different difficulty levels, located in the Soldeu and El Tarter sector. At Soldeu, there is the Ós Fun Cross Ride, the Astor Fun Cross Ride and the Òliba Fun Cross, as well as the Marmota Junior Fun Cross for a lower level of expertise. Meanwhile, between the Guineu and Tamarro slopes at El Tarter, there is the Guineu Fun Cross, a 675-metre-long section with a 150-metre drop that will get your adrenaline pumping. The Guineu Fun Cross is, however, for children with a much higher level.
Easy Way and Fun Way circuits
The Easy Way and Fun Way circuits take you across the slopes in three of the resort's sectors: Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig and Encamp.
– Easy Way: adapted to suit all levels and ages, this route is perfect for the little ones and less experienced skiers. It takes 4 hours, crosses 6 blue runs and uses 8 lifts.
– Fun Way: unlike the Easy Way route, this circuit requires more experience and greater skill. Designed for more advanced skiers, the route only follows red runs, so you can discover some of the resort’s most hidden spots. It takes 3 to 5 hours, and depending on the route you choose, you can cross 11 slopes and take 10 lifts.
Skimo Way circuit
If you're a fan of ski mountaineering, then the Skimo Way is the circuit for you! The route links the Pas de la Casa and Encamp sectors, enabling you to enjoy spectacular views and visit some of the most iconic locations in Grandvalira. The Skimo Way offers a real challenge for lovers of ski mountaineering. With no defined difficulty level, you can choose your own difficulty as well as the length of the route.
So: which one will you choose?
