The Vilaró - Ruta del Ferro picnic area’s charm does not just lie in its wonderful location, next to the river and the modest hamlet of Llorts. It is also provided by its nearby human sculptures, as this area is on the Andorra Iron Route, which passes through here and other spots in Ordino to show visitors the region’s links to iron.
Arriving here by car is easy; just head along the CG3 road from Ordino until Llorts, then, at the entrance to the hamlet, go down to the right, towards the river. Another advantage of the Vilaró - Ruta del Ferro picnic area is that it offers various barbecues, just like the other recreational areas in the parish, such as Font de la Navina and Encodina. As well as barbecues, there are wooden tables and seating, so that you can sit down and enjoy your food.
