This flamboyant and typically Italian name graces one of Andorra’s most successful pizzerias, where the menu and décor will make you think you're in Naples, Rome or any one of Italy’s beautiful cities. La Capricciosa is located on Av. Sant Antoni 38, next to highway CG-3 as it passes through the town. The pizzeria is just 500 metres from the La Massana cable car and is very popular with skiers and bikers from Vallnord, who visit it throughout the year.
La Capricciosa takes the preparation of its pizzas very seriously. Its dough is made from high-quality flour and always in keeping with the optimum fermentation and maturation times to ensure a delicious yet airy pizza base. All of the pizzas are made by hand and to order, as Italian tradition demands.
Calzone Napoletano, Romana, Quattro Formaggi, Prosciutto & Funghi, Bresaola & Rucola and Piemontese are just some of 29 varieties of pizza available on the menu, all of which are made with ingredients with a protected designation of origin. La Capricciosa’s range of pizzas is complemented with the addition of antipasti, salads, cheese boards, Italian cured meats and freshly made desserts such as tiramisu and panna cotta. So tempting!
La Capricciosa offers full disabled access. Credit and debit cards are accepted and pets are welcome. It can seat up to 28 diners and the staff speak Catalan, Spanish, English, French and, of course, Italian. The opening hours are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. every day except Tuesday, when the pizzeria is closed.
