Street Jazz

09 van July - 14 van July

Jazz climbs on stage yet another year in Plaza Coprínceps, with styles and sounds for everyone.

“Street Jazz” is a classic of the Escaldian summer, and the Colours of Music Festival is open every year. During the second week of July, from Monday to Saturday, you can enjoy live performances.

Monday 9/7 - Ronald Baker Quartet. Baker is a genuine trumpeter of the latest generation of American instrumentalists.

Tuesday 10/7 - The Dry River Stompers Swing Band. With a repertoire of the best of American swing and jazz, the band led by Àngels Vilaró will take you to the NYC of the 40s.

Wednesday 11/7 - Marc Ferrer Trio. This renowned pianist presents his second studio work "Another way", after "3 Coffes", which was very well received among jazz piano enthusiasts.

Thursday 12/7 - Amós Lora & Ivan “Melon” Lewis. Face to face piano and guitar, jazz and flamenco. A fusion through which these two musicians take you on a musical trip from Manuel de Falla to Cuba.

Friday 13/7 - Marina Tuset Quartet. With a personal, powerful and subtle voice, Marina Tuset is a young, classically trained revelation of Catalan jazz, who performs with a pianist, bassist and drummer.

And Saturday 14/7 - Men in Swing Jazz Band. This septet proposes a trip to the golden age of swing and jazz, with an impeccable scene.

In Plaza Coprínceps of Escaldes-Engordany, from Monday the 9th to Saturday 14 July, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Free Entry.
