Speed Skiing World Cup

05 van April - 07 van April

Pure speed on skis returns to Grandvalira, once again the setting for the Speed Skiing World Cup.

Extreme speed returns to the Riberal slope in the Grau Roig sector at Grandvalira with the trials of the Speed Skiing World Cup, which will be disputed over three courses.

The best FIS speed skiing professionals in the men and women's categories will fight to win and also try to beat the slope’s speed record of 199.56 km/h, set last year by Switzerland’s Philippe May.

The Riberal slope, which is the only one in southern Europe approved for pure speed is 900 m long with an elevation difference of 200 m, plus the extra ten from its spectacular launching tower, and a maximum gradient of 74%.

Dates and location: Riberal slope, Grau Roig sector (Grandvalira), from 5 to 7 April 2018
