20 Years of the Medieval Festival!

The Medieval Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary, filling the streets, squares and corners of Sant Julià de Lòria.

The programme boasts three intense days packed with a whole host of activities, including workshops and demonstrations of traditional trades, such as coin minting and basketry.

The Sant Julià de Lòria Medieval Festival will feature 60 or so stops and 75 activities, with market, food and drink area, live music, and play and leisure spaces for adults and children, as well as travelling shows accessible to all ages.

The medieval dinner in Auvinyà – for which period clothing is a must – organised by the Esbart Lauredià folk dance group, will represent the legend of the wedding of Ermessenda de Castellbò and Roger Bernat II. The festival coincides with the celebration of the Witchcraft Fair and L’Andart.
