La Pitavola del Comapedrosa will celebrate its fifth edition on 4 and 5 October in Arinsal, coinciding with the anniversary of the Comapedrosa Natural Park.

The event, consolidated as the mountain market of the Pyrenees, focuses on sustainability, the recovery of traditional trades and the promotion of natural heritage.

The programme includes more than thirty activities and 31 craft stalls, 17 from Andorra and the rest from Ariège and Alt Pirineu, strengthening the brand of the Three Nations Natural Park.

New features include a guided walk along the Carboneres trail with an interpretative charcoal kiln, a permanent exhibition dedicated to mycology and, as in previous editions, the presentation of a new sculpture: the Pyrenean newt. More livestock from local farmers will also be introduced, especially aimed at children.

This cross-border gathering brings together artisans and visitors from Andorra, Catalonia and Ariège, with the collaboration of the spaces that make up the Pyrenean Three Nations Park: the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, the Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Ariégeoises, the Sorteny Natural Park and the Comapedrosa Natural Park.
