Albrecht Dürer

Centre d'Art d'Escaldes-Engordany (CAEE)
2025-06-23 - 2025-10-11

The CAEE is hosting an exhibition of prints by Albrecht Dürer, an artist born in Nuremberg in 1471 and considered a key figure of the European Renaissance.

The exhibition showcases the major works of his career as a printmaker, highlighting his ability to merge the scientific precision of the Germanic world with the humanism of the Italian world. A tireless observer of reality, Dürer brought great versatility to Renaissance graphic creation.

Until 11 October 2025, the CAEE presents this selection of period prints, along with a complementary programme of activities including guided tours, lectures, and family sessions to further explore the artist and his work.

You can consult the activity programme at this link.
