Beauty and Perfumery

A cosmetics paradise

Perfumeries and cosmetic centres are probably one of the types of establishment with the greatest presence in the commercial areas of the Principality. And, what’s more, they are home to an immense range of products from the most prestigious international brands. It will be difficult not to find the special cosmetics you were looking for or the most exclusive fragrance you’ve heard so much about.

In the country's commercial centres, you'll find everything you’re looking for. Take The Shopping Mile, for example. On this mile-long shopping area, made up of Vivand on Avinguda Carlemany in Escaldes-Engordany and Avinguda Meritxell and Fener Boulevard in Andorra la Vella, you can

find everything from the most iconic Andorran chains with years of history to stores of large international franchises, some of which are part of Andorra Selected. Find more details through this link to the map on its website, with details of the locations of all the shops.

In Riberaygua i Travesseres, in Andorra la Vella and a few metres from The Shopping Mile, you can stroll through an area partly reserved for pedestrians with the presence of the main national chains, but also local and independent shops. This shopping area is also characterised by a large group of complementary services such as hairdressers and beauty centres. Through this link to its website you can check out the interactive map in more detail.

But the presence of establishments dedicated to beauty also extends beyond the centre and reaches most shopping areas in all parishes. Another example is the town of Pas de la Casa. Located in the parish of Encamp, it is known for its large number of establishments dedicated to the world of perfumery and cosmetics, as well as sports stores, fashion and accessories establishments and some of the largest retail spaces in the country.

Well-being: An emblem of the country

If you take a walk to the shopping area in the upper part of Escaldes-Engordany, you’ll discover a couple of gems: one of the oldest perfumeries in the country and, right next to it, the Roc del Metge fountain, which is a source of thermal water with temperatures between 68 and 71 °C.  Two symbols of the significance and value of well-being in Andorra. This importance has lasted for years and remains in force not only in the commercial spaces dedicated to beauty, but also in the country’s thermal and wellness centres, where you can enjoy high-level beauty treatments. One of the landmark establishments is Caldea, the largest thermal spa in southern Europe.
