The entire route offers wonderful views of the village of Encamp and the peaks of Llevant. It is an ideal circuit for snowshoeing first-timers. At the end of the trail is Engolasters Lake, which is actually a dam reservoir used to generate electricity and supply some of Andorra’s towns and villages.

STARTING POINT

Take the road CS-220 towards Els Cortals d’Encamp. After 3 kilometres, turn right following the signs for Engolasters Lake. At the parking area continue on foot until you come to a metal gate.
