Save the Serenalla
The Serenalla has escaped! After someone accidentally trod on her, she ran off to hide in the woods and lick her wounds. Although our little friend is very strong and brave, she needs our help to get better and heal her wounds so she can go back to her den. Can you help us save her?
A family rescue mission
Save the Serenalla is a rescue mission designed to do as a family. Located in the Comapedrosa Natural Park, young and old alike will enjoy this activity together, not just because it’s fun, but also because you’ll learn about the environment and the main features of the park, which also contains the highest peak in the country: the Comapedrosa Peak, at 2942 m high.
Designed as an educational and didactic game, the children can follow the clues provided along the route, together with the complementary instructions in the explanatory booklet. The booklet contains a map covering the whole route, which together with other elements of the park and with help from some friends in the forest and the tamarro Massa, will help you solve all the riddles and formulate the magic potion to save our friend Serenalla!
Walking the Comapedrosa Interpretive Circuit
An added bonus you should know about for this route is that it also passes through part of the Comapedrosa Interpretive Circuit: you’ll not only get to enjoy some recreational time together as a family, you’ll also learn about the native flora and fauna.
This route can be done all year round, weather and soil conditions permitting. Likewise, it’s also advisable to go there with the right equipment (bring warm clothes and snow boots or snowshoes in winter and outdoor footwear in summer).
The activity lasts about 30-45 mins and is perfect to do as a family.
Ask for your explanatory booklet at the La Massana Tourist Information Office and find out all the details.
