Camí Hidroelèctric d’Engolasters

PLACES YOU WILL SEE

Every Saturday (apart from the winter months) the Electricity Museum offers the Path of Engolasters hydroelectric, a tour of the production of electricity in which you will visit the workings of the Engolasters Lake dam, you will walk on the channels that take the water from the river and you will see the secrets of electricity production. Furthermore, you will be able to see how they formerly brought in the material and people to the guard huts on the dam, and you can get on the carriage that was in service from 1930 to 1999!

The whole route is done on foot in perfect natural surroundings at 1,600m alt. with qualified guides to answer any question you might have at all times.

This activity is available on Saturdays in May, June and September, while in July and August it is open every day, except for Mondays, when it is closed.

From April to October, discretionary visits can be made, with prior booking and subject to centre availability.
