Andorra will host the first FIS Freeride World Championships, which will take place from 1 to 6 February 2026 at the Ordino Arcalís ski resort.

The event marks a historic milestone, as it will be the first time that freeride holds World Championships under the umbrella of the International Ski Federation (FIS).

For more than ten years, Andorra has been a benchmark destination for freeride, hosting stages of the Freeride World Tour year after year. With the World Championships, it strengthens its position as a reference for the discipline, and this new trophy represents the highest level of freeride competition on the global stage.

The FIS Freeride World Championships will bring together the best specialists on the international scene, while taking freeride to a new level and offering a unique opportunity to showcase the talent and intensity of off-piste skiing and snowboarding.
