Thanks to their experience in driving 4x4 vehicles and their long history as mountain guides, with The NaturExplorer you’ll have loads of options to choose from: you’ll be able to pick between doing an off-road tour through the most impassable terrain, cross the wildest forests or go on a cultural excursion where you’ll explore our country’s cultural heritage: churches, museums, viewpoints, etc.

Some of the routes

Below are three of the experiences you can do with The NaturExplorer:

Lakes and marmots in 4x4: this tour begins with a climb up to Llac del Cubil lake, standing at 2,265 m. Once you arrive, you’ll do a short route on foot that will take you to Orri, and then you’ll continue going up to the Enradort saddle: located at over 2,400 metres above sea level, you’ll enjoy amazing views of the Pyrenees! Next, you’ll go back down through the Grau Roig forest, heading towards Pessons, until reaching the first lake. Once there, you’ll stop at the terrace of the Refugi del Llac de Pessons restaurant where you’ll be able to have a little snack to recharge before starting the return journey. In addition, if you’d like to have a more foodie experience, you can also request to have lunch included in your excursion! You’ll enjoy a meal at the restaurant Piolet, in the middle of a beautiful natural setting!

Andorran Visit: if, on the other hand, you’re looking to discover Andorra’s cultural heritage in more depth, then this is the excursion for you! You’ll do different routes, both in a vehicle and on foot, that will give you an up-close look at all of the country’s cultural and Romanesque heritage: you’ll visit museums, monuments, Romanesque chapels and more, and if you’d like to enjoy some amazing views, ask for your excursion to be combined with one of Andorra’s most iconic viewpoints. You’ll be stunned by the views!

Sunset on the peaks: lastly, there’s the newest and most ‘poetic’ offer from The NaturExplorer: an evening excursion in a 4x4 to enjoy the sunset!
With this itinerary, you’ll have a four-hour excursion – from 7 pm to 11 pm or from 8 pm to midnight – where you’ll do a route similar to the Lakes and marmots in 4x4 route. In this case, however, you’ll go up to the Solanelles saddle instead of the Enradort saddle, also located at over 2,400 metres above sea level. A small snack will be waiting for you to enjoy while you take in the impressive panoramic view of the sun setting over the Pyrenees.

These routes will only be available between the months of June and August and are for groups of at least four people.

The NaturExplorer also offers a pick-up and drop-off service at your accommodation. Thanks to their experience, you can also ask for your tour to be fully customised; just tell them your preferences and they will do everything to make sure your excursion is unforgettable!
