Winter activities in Grau Roig and Ordino Arcalís
During the ski season, RocRoi offers something for everyone: in Grau Roig you can enjoy snowshoeing and mushing trips, build igloos, drive snowmobiles and go cross-country skiing; while in Ordino Arcalís the options include snowmobile rides, snowshoeing trips and igloo-building.
If you’re looking for a more thrilling experience, both sectors offer night-time activities that are sure to give you an adrenaline rush, such as driving a snowmobile or going on a snowshoe trip under the stars. Last but not least, if you’re visiting as a group you can also experience the thrill of tubing in Grau Roig, where you’ll get to slide down the mountain on a giant donut-shaped ring. Exploring Ordino in the summer
In the summer, RocRoi offers a selection of hiking trips in the Ordino Arcalís area. There are four different routes with varying levels of difficulty: the route up to the Tristaina solar viewpoint is classed as “easy” and takes between two and three hours, while the route up to the Grau de la Llosa viewpoint in Sorteny, the Lake Estanyó route and the Lake Querol route are classed as “medium to difficult” and take between four and five hours.
There are routes for all ability levels and you’ll be accompanied throughout by specialist guides who will ensure the group remains safe at all times. The minimum age for these activities is 12.
